Prayer To The Prince Of Peace

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You that You are the Prince of Peace. Thank You that You not only calmed the raging storms on the sea, two thousand years ago, but that You are still able to calm the stresses and distresses within my heart, and I praise and thank You that You have taken up residency within my life, in the person of the Holy Spirit.Thank You, that my life has been exchanged for Your life, and that my sinful unrighteousness has been replaced with Your perfect righteousness. Thank You, that I not only have peace with God through the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus Christ, but that I have Your promise of an abiding peace, within my heart, when my mind is stayed upon You.Keep me I pray, from being overwhelmed by the ragings of the world and the tempestuous storms of life, and help me at all times to abide in Your love and to cast all my problems and cares upon You.Thank You, that You have overcome the world and that I can rest securely in You, knowing I have not been given the spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. May Your name be glorified in my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
