Prayer To Bring Up Children Wisely

Loving Father, Your Word promises that if I bring up my children in the way they should go, then when they are old they will not depart from it. Lord, I ask that You give me wisdom to do just that, to teach my children the ways of the Lord, just as the mother and grandmother of Timothy taught him the Holy Scriptures from being a young child. So Father, I claim that promise for my children. I ask You to give me the wisdom as I teach them about Jesus and how He died for all the wrong things that we have done, so that we might be forgiven and one day go to be with Him in heaven. Help me not to compromise on the truth and when they ask difficult questions, give me the wisdom and grace to have an answer for the faith that I have in You. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Who died for me and my children,Amen.
