Prayer Of The Body Of Christ

Gracious Lord, we thank You for Your love and forgiveness to each one of us, and praise and thank You that we are Your children and have been born into Your heavenly family. Lord, we pray for unity in the body of Christ, that we may show forth true godliness of heart and gracious contentment in our actions and attitudes towards each other and to You. Lord, we have nothing to commend ourselves to You, but You have clothed us in Your own righteousness. May each one of us be swift to run from those things that are displeasing to You, but rather to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Help us Lord, to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace in our homes and church communities, and give us grace we pray, to diligently seek after all those things that are well-pleasing in Your sight, so that we may live in unity, one with the other, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name we pray,�Amen.
