Prayer For The Recovery Of A Friend

Dear God, You are the giver of life and health and You are the healer of the sick and the suffering. I pray for a dear friend who is in distress with ill-health today, and pray that You would help them to come to a full recovery and restore them to wholeness, health and strength. Lord, I do ask that You would meet my friend at their point of need, not only in their physical suffering but also in their spiritual sickness. Lord, my dear friend not only needs recovery of their physical health but recovery of their spiritual lack and the emotional pain that seems to be making their physical problem so much worse. Administer all Your gifts of health and healing for body and mind I pray, and multiply Your blessings and grace towards them so that they may be fully restored and come to a deeper knowledge and understanding of You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
