Prayer For Discrimination In My Giving

Dear Lord Jesus, I pray that whether I have a little or a lot You, would take what I have and use it to Your glory. When times are hard, help me not to be tight-fisted and when I have plenty, give me wisdom in sharing all that you have given to me. Help me to be discriminating in my offerings and develop in me the joy and cheerfulness in giving that is so pleasing to Your heart. I pray that You would direct me in any offerings and gifts I may make and give me the wisdom to recognise a real need from one that is feigned. Loving Father, there are so many ministries today that are actively asking for money and finances. Direct me I pray, to give wisely and give me discernment to know who to support and who to avoid. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
