Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ. Thank you for visting our site and we hope

OUR HISTORY

Warren Temple United Methodist Church which is currently located on
the corner of East Depot and Union Streets is more than 150 years
old. It was founded in 1865 by freed slaves.
It has held worship in this community as a member of the Central
Jurisdiction Methodist Episcopal Church, and since 1972, it has been
a part of the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Our current edifice was built by one of the members,
Mr. John Moore, and was completed in 1934.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Warren Temple’s Sunday School program is designed to give adults,
young adults, youth and children lessons on the Holy Scriptures.
Classes are each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. proceeding the Worship
Service.

Bible Study
Bible study is for all age groups and allows each individual
to work towards their own personal goals on their Christian journey.

Youth Ministry
The Warren Temple Youth Ministries are soaring to new heights.
These youth ranging from ages 9-18 serve as active participants in the church service. Our Youth are a blessing to us.
Watch us Grow!

Children’s Ministry
Our Children are a blessing to the Warren Temple Family.
Not only do they serve in the worship service, they have one of
the fastest growing Sunday School classes.
Our children are being trained in the Warren Temple heritage
of praise and participation.

Seniors Ministries

Young Adults Ministry
Our newly established Young Adult Ministry is becoming
a very active ministry. This ministry incorporates all persons from
ages 19-35. This ministry has appropriately adapted the theme “A new
praise for a new generation”. Currently the ministry is working on
establishing a Young Adult Bible study, a Campus ministry to
incorporate local colleges and high schools, monthly mixers and a
Single Parent Bible Study. These are only a few of the many
projects. Look for great things from this ministry.

Our Choirs
Praise and Worship
Our Praise and worship services are lead by
the each choir on a given Sunday.

Sanctuary Choir

The Warren Temple Sanctuary Choir participates the first
and third Sundays and consist of both adult and senior members.
This Choir renders songs of worship through traditional hymns and
spirituals.
Rehearsal Times: Every 1st & 3rd Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The Pastor’s Choir

The Pastor’s Choir or Children’s consist of children and youth.
They serve as active participants on
3rd Sunday during church service. The Pastor’s choir
sing Contemporary songs of praise and worship.
Choir Practice is every Wednesday evening @ 7:00PM.

Liturgist
Liturgist perform with pulpit duties as apart of Sunday morning
worship service by leading the congregation through the morning
worship service.

Usher Teams
The Warren Temple Ushers
consist of 2 teams, Adult Usher Team and the Teen Usher Team.

Outreach
Social Concerns, Church Calendar, Health Welfare,
United Methodist Women, United Methodist Men
