ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND THE DIRECTORThe Director of the school had completed his Major in Bible(A.A.B.S.)at
FREED-HARDEMAN UNIVERSITY from 1972-1976. After his graduation he went
back to INDIA and established a Bible institution, which was named as
preachers’ training school. This SCHOOL is completely associated to TURANGI
CHURCH OF CHRIST. The OFFICIAL SPONSOR for this school at present is Northeast Church of Christ, Kingsport, TN.
Mr. K.G.Kumar is now a full-time evangelist and also teaches
and administers the school. Till now the graduates from this school are more than 400. The school now supports 53 preachers around the country who work in 73 congregations.
The school has both English and Telugu(native language)classes. The duration
of English school is 3 years, and the duration of the Telugu school is
2 years. The present strength of the school is 90.The faculty of the
school consists of 10 teachers & 19 office & other staff.The school also provides
technical courses such as computers, Tailoring, T.V.&Radio, Type, & Electrical
to help the students after graduation.The school also runs a monthly
magazine in native language called “KRUPAVAKYAM”, translated as “Word of Grace.” The school also runs correspondence course both
in English and Telugu.The name of the school has been changed to PREACHERS’
TRAINING COLLEGE in March,1999 in the presence of Dr. CLAUDE E. GARDNER
(former president of FREED-HARDEMAN UNIVERSITY)who is a life time chancellor of
the school in INDIA. By the grace of the Lord Mr. K.G.Kumar’s son Mr. KEDARISETTI NATHAN
is now a student at FREED-HARDEMAN UNIVERSITY doing his major in Bible.
