inerrant Word. Our faith is expressed in the writings of “The Book
of Concord”. “Concord”, though published in 1580, is still valid
today, for though times and customs change, and we live in the modern
world, truth is unchanging.
1997 is the 150th Anniversary Year of the Lutheran Church – Missouri
Synod and we encourage one and all to take a look at the stand that
men of faith took in times past and to move boldly into the future
mindful of our Anniversary theme that Christians are “Sent Forth By
God’s Blessing”.
