ST. LUKE CHRISTIAN METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH

Be the first to review

A Message from the Pastor Did you ever stop to think, what our community would be like without a church? Suppose there were no steeple reaching toward heaven on any corner in this city? Suppose there were no house of worship for people to use for weddings, funerals, baby dedication, problem solving? Just the thought of such a place seems frightening.
Along with such a catastrophe, there would be no Bible, no word from God, no morals, or no right to stand against wrong. There would be no order to the society, for our law are clearly based on the Law of God given to Moses in Exodus.
We are thankful that God has placed us right where we are on County Road 94 (off hwy. 431) in Oakbowery. We are here to share the Bible, its expressed in His Son Jesus. Our Church brings stability and morality to our community.
Even if you feel no need for us at this time in your life, however, we will be there when you need us. So please take note of us, glance at our structure as you drive by, and note our services. When the day arrives that you have a need, we will be available.

May God Bless You,
Pastor Cheryl Goliday

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.” Eccl. 3:1-2
