PURPOSEThe Presbyterian Church is a Bible based Church with worship and praise according to the Bible and the Westminster Confession of faith and accompanying Larger and Shorter Catechisms. The Symbol of the Church is the “Burning Bush.” The name Presbyterian is based on the biblical term Elders, and local Church members elect spiritual leaders called elders to lead the church, with the Minister, as a Session. Sessions are subject to regional Presbyteries, and State and National General Assemblies. Presbyteries and State Assemblies consist of the Ministers and a representative elder from each charge.
