Saint Elias Orthodox MissionSaint Elias Orthodox Mission, formerly know as St. Seraphim of Sarov Orthodox Mission is a new missionary community under the jurisdiction of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church of North & South America – “SOBORNOPRAVNA.” We are comissioned to do evangelical work in the westside of Los Angeles, California. Rather than duplicate names already used in this area, we have chosen the Holy Prophet Elias (Elijah) as the new patron of our mission.
The primate of our
Metropolia is His Beatitude, Metropolitan +STEPHAN, Metropolitan of North and South America.
The pastor of the
Cathedral parish
is the Most Rev. Michael J. Champion, DD, MA Th. who also serves as Protosyngellos of the Metropolia and is Archbishop of Cleveland. Here are some views of the cathedral and some more views of the cathedral.
