Mothers & Fathers Prayers(Meetings on the first Friday at 7.30pm at 6 Wattlepark street, Caroline Springs vic 3023 Austalia
Gentle Mother, Quiet Dove, teach me wisdom, teach me love.
You know well enough that Our Lord does not look so much at the greatness of our actions nor even at their difficulty, but at the love with which we do them – St.Therese
Dear Mother Mary take us to your Son, help us to surrender our children to Jesus.
Lord, we pray for the qualities of the heart of awareness and surrender.
Mothers Prayers was formed to help those mothers who wished to pray together for their children and grandchildren and to find the support they needed. ‘Stop your crying and wipe away your tears. All that you have done for your children will not go unrewarded. They will return from the enemy’s land. There is hope for your future. Your children will come back home. I, the Lord, have spoken’. (Jer 31: 16,17)
At the meeting we use our special prayer booklet and gather around a small table on which
we have placed:-
A Cross
to remind us that Jesus is our Redeemer.
A Candle
to remind us that He is the Light of the World.
A Bible
to remind us that He is the Living Word.
A small Basket
at the foot of the Cross ready to receive the names of our children written individually on small paper discs as a symbol of our placing them into Jesus’ care.
We follow our booklet of prayers but we also allow time for spontaneous prayer.
The prayers in the booklet are informal and are just words that speak from a Mothers heart to the Lord.

Come as you are Hear the Spirit call, Come and see, come receive?..
Life everlasting and hope for today,
Taste the living waters and never thirst again!
A beautiful saint of today’s times Mother Theresa lived this kingdom life, and she brought Love, Joy and Peace in the midst of a confused society filled with misery and poverty in Calcutta branded as the city of the poorest of the poor. We look up for heaven, and pray “Let your kingdom come let your will be done” and we look within ourselves for that Kingdom.
