The Challenge of the Call
Mt. Gilboa recognizes that the world will never beat a pathway to her door, therefore she must be about the task given in St. Matthew 28:19. To that end, our Missions Department is very active in assisting those who find themselves in the “cracks” of life; responding to our elder citizens by interacting with them on several occassions during the year, and producing outreach presentations intended for the community. Although The church is predominantly American-African; Her outreach is not limited to that particular community. In November, during the Thanksgiving Season, the Church participates with the Community as a whole in a ThanksGiving Day Praise and Worship Service.
