Dear Christian Friends:We at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church are optimistic in our mission of providing a better life for our members and for generations yet to come through teaching and preaching the Word of God and Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We have successfully provided Youth Services, Bible Studies, Sunday School, Morning Worship Services and Outreach Missions for Citizens of our community since 1852. Our community includes the greater Sacramento, Maryville and Yuba City areas (including Beale Air Force Base) of Northern California.
Currently, our Church can only provide services for less than 200 worshipers because of the limited space available. The growing community needs a place to worship, a place to share our abiding faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and this is why we now reach out to our Christian family for financial support.

Striving Faithfully Towards Our GoalOur goal is to build a larger Sanctuary to provide services for 450 members. To reach this goal, we are humbly asking our Christian Friends to donate $500.00 to this cause. We are vigorously working toward our Goal of raising $500,000 by the end of 2000 with various local fundraising events, but our local community is rather depressed economically, and we need to expand our fundraising ambitions nationally.
Our Lord, Jesus Christ tells us in St. Matthew chapter 21, verse 22, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” The members of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church have prayed, and firmly believe our Lord will make a way for this Sanctuary to be build, if he wills it. We pray you or your Church can find a way to assist us.
