Who we Are
We are rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ by the rule of benedict.
We are a small Hispanic community of Benedictine men with a big vision to created an ecumenical community. This goal flows out of our mission and values as well as our years of service and global Hispanic outreach. Our community is blessed with an openness to change and the courage and freedom to take risks. Our ecumenical outreach dates back to 1986. To move beyond boundaries of denomination, we preyerfully assessed these gift to create and ecumenical spiritual place “so that all may be one.” The communities of life and work here are like many doors into House Of Mercy. Each door gives a different perspective of this place, yet once inside, all guest receive the same joyfull welcome.
“All guest who present themselves are to be welcome as Christ.” (Rule of Benedict:53:1
