FULL GOSPEL PRAYER FELLOWSHIP (TAMIL), KUWAIT

Be the first to review

Welcome message and the History
Dear Beloved in Christ,He who promised saying “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me” and”The small shall become thousand and the littleone a strong nation,I the Lord will do it
hastily”helped us to establish this fellowship during 1979 with 5 members. It is only by His grace that the church has grown thus far. He who said , “And on this rock I will build mychurch and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” helped us to overcome many problems, persecutions, oppositionsand even destruction caused by wind, water and fire.”But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christand through us spreads every where the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.”

I request you to pray that the church would accomplish the visionthat God has given. Let there be glory to the Church to Christ Jesus throughout all generations.
Yours in loving service,
S. Shunmugam

Pastor.

From the beginning of the world to its end, there is no
place you can look and not see Jesus. He is everywhere. He is everything. “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” (Colossians 1:17)D E V O T I O N A L SGOD’S PRESENCEDaniel 7:1 NIV …Daniel had a dream, and visions passed through his mind as hewas lying on his bed. He wrote down the substance of his dream.
Even in Daniel’s time of rest he was available to the Lord. This is a heart that knows life in the Spirit is the only life worthliving. Whether I wake or sleep, I am the Lord’s. He knowsmy rising up and my lieing down. Where shall I go from hispresence? Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. What a wonderful place of peace to know that all I experienceis in His capable hands. Notice that Daniel faithfully recordedwhat he received in his time of rest. Like Samuel, he let none ofHis words fall to the ground. Has the Lord spoken to your heart lately?Did you carefully record what He was saying to you so that you couldcarefully follow His instruction to you? One thing the Scriptureteaches us is that these faithful men were given more. They walked with God and were careful to keep all He showed them. They could be trusted with more. Can you? When you have an encounterwith God drop everything and focus on what He is showing you. This is what we live for, faithful obedience because we desire toglorify Him. Then He will give you more. He wants to pour into our lives, but He searches for faithful vessels to pour into. Be available,be faithful.
SELF- JUSTIFICATIONBrothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual shouldrestore him gently,. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.Galatians 6:1 NIVOne of the most destructive things a church can experience is not from anoutside force but from right within it’s own members.Jesus warned us that pollution isn’t an outside thing but comes from our own heart. When a brother is offended the first mistake is going to othersto support your position. We build up a support group that will side with us.This is nothing more than self-justification and Job said in 9:20if I do that my own mouth would condemn me. Then instead of going in agentle forgiving spirit we go to the offended party with adesire to prove we are right, more self-justification.This is spiritual immaturity and is one of the most divisively evilactions we can take. Christ tells us over and over to love each other. The sample was a foot washer, a servant, a humble heart willingto do whatever it took to point us to the Father. “Follow me!”
GOING THROUGH THE FIRE2 Chronicles 7:1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. We won’t enjoy His glory without His fire. His fire consumes a willingsacrifice now, or an unwilling sacrifice later. It is not the’flesh’ that will taste of His glory (1 Corinthians 1:29),for ‘the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord’ (Proverbs 20:27).His Word searches out the inward parts, igniting us with His fire, burning out the dross of worldly things. ‘Did not our heart burn within us,while He talked with us by the way, and while He opened to us the scriptures?’said the disciples of Jesus’ words (Luke 24:32). His
‘rhema’ words search us,try us, locate us, take us through the fire, reveal His glory!Peter tells us the ‘fiery trials’ also come to make us partakers ofChrist’s sufferings that we may rejoice in His revealed glory.Again: no fire, no glory! It was in fire that the early Church was bornon each head a tongue of fire at Pentecost. It was from a bush of fire that Moses heard God’s command. The firemay be unpleasant, but the glory is worth it! Jesus counsels you, today,to ‘buy of Me gold tried in the fire’ (Revelation 3:18).John the Baptist introduced Jesus as the One Who would baptize withthe Holy Spirit, and with fire! Let us welcome the fire as we would His Spirit. From whatever source comes the heat of unkind words, the pain of persecution, the blessings He would seem to withholdHe is at work, dear one, forging you in the character of His mould!More to come………………….Keep watching and Pray without ceasing….May God Bless you all.
