WHO ARE WE?1. WE ARE A CHRISTIAN CONGREGATION, WHO BELONGS TO THE REFORMED CHURCH IN AMERICA, one of the oldest Protestant denominations in North America, with a continuing Christian ministry since 1628.
2. WE ARE GOD’S PEOPLE LIVING WITH THE PURPOSE OF BEING: “A compassionate Christian church loving people where they are.” The Faith Community Church has been ministering to people in this manner since the church’s ministries were organized. The church’s Sunday School began in 1925, and the church became an organized Reformed Church congregation in 1947.
3. WE ARE A CHURCH WHO CONTINUES TO SHARE GOD’S GOOD NEWS of salvation from human sin and the assurance of eternal life by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
4. WE ARE A CHURCH WITH A VISION TO DO LIFE CHANGING MINISTRY NOW AND IN THE FUTURE. “We exist to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission, by sharing God’s good news and making faithful followers of Jesus Christ.”

3. “In School” Tutoring Program {K – 8th grade}
4. ALPHA COURSE – A 10 week introduction to the Christian faith.
5. English as a Second Language Course – A 12 week course.
6. “Faith Connections” – A 3 session course focused upon the theme of “What it means to belong”.

worshipping and ministering congregation, like the Faith Community Church of Stickney, IL?
7. Worship Style Variety:
9:00 a.m. – Traditional & Blended Style Worship
i.e. Faith Choir sings; musical accompaniment usually by organ or piano; singing from hymnals; liturgy included; semi-formal atmoshere
11:15 a.m. – Contemporary Style Worship
i.e. Worship led by the Faith Praise Band; pop/rock style; worship & praise songs projected on screen; no liturgy; drama; informal seeker-sensitive atmoshere.
