DUTCH REFORMED CHURCH NIGEL -EAST

Be the first to review

GeneralThe DRC Nigel -East is one of four DRC Churches situated within the municipal boundaries of Nigel. The town Nigel is on the eastern border of the Gauteng province and is also near Springs and Heidelberg. Johannesburg is apoximately 70km from Nigel. Nigel is a semi rural community with a healthy central business district, plenty of town dwellers and wide open spaces inhabitated by a farming community.
The DRC Nigel -East is the youngest of the DRC Churches of Nigel and was established in 1983. Our congregation consists of 765 souls young and old and is a mix of the community. The church is attended to by the Reverend HL van der Nest BA. MDiv.
Visit our minister at http://www.web.netactive.co.za/~hlvdnest

We also have a full time missionary. Johan Bloemhof is a minister called and sent by this congregation and supported by many other churches for missionary work in France. He and his family is currently living in Paris from where they operate.
Because we serve a large rural community, we as church are also actively involved in local missionary work.

Please get involved by: (a) Praying for our Missionary and his family. (b) Praying for our minister and his family. (c) Praying for our congregation. (d) Financial contributions for our work locally and abroad.
