Curry Temple Mission StatementThe Curry Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church is a family of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who extends themselves to the people, and seeks to express the love of God in the welcome it extends. The Curry Temple family seeks to involve all people in its worship, ministries of outreach and diverse cultural involvement. A significant part of this witness over the years has been the church’s commitment to faithfulness. It is the intention of this church to speak on the behalf of the poor and the hungry, for the voiceless and the oppressed. It seeks to bring to the expression the community’s compassion and conscience in the struggle to achieve freedom for all, and respect for the dignity of all persons.
The Curry Temple Church intends to fulfill this prophetic and pastoral task in a way that is inclusive and generous, characterized by the loving spirit of the Lord Jesus it serves and glorifies.
