Gene Smith joined our church as a small boy. Today, he and his wife, Melva Nix Smith, lead as pastors. Their ministry includes not only those typical services performed, but also a musical ministry which is a blessing to all. Of utmost concern to them, they care for the people as only life long friends can care.

ABOUT USThe Burnwell Bible Church of God was founded in 1932 by Rev. H. R. Nix and wife, Flossie. This church was founded and established as a place of true worship, fellowship, preaching of the Word of God. We are a place for people to celebrate, mourn, comfort,and fellowship.
