BENEDICTINE MONKS OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Be the first to review

Who are weA Contemplative Benedictine Community of monks founded in 1996 and dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary and with whom, they sit at the foot of the Cross of Christ supplicating for the World, through a life of prayer, work and study in the framework of the Rule of Saint Benedict. The Community leads a monastic life without any outside ministry. The celebration of the Liturgy, is of central importance. Following the Morning and Evening Offices silent mental prayer is nourished by the Biblical texts heard during the liturgical celebrations is shared in common. Lectio Divina is emphasised in the daily horarium.

“Therefore are they before the throne of God
and serve Him day and night within His temple
and He who sits on the throne will shelter them
with His presence” Rev 7:15

The Congregation is a constituent Religious Community of the American Traditional Catholic Church/Traditional Old Roman Catholic Church
