Signification from name of the BNKP is The Protestant Christian Church, actually BNKP is a congregation of the holy people’s of those who have been baptized in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit. It is a manifestation of the body of Christ.

BNKP was recognized in fact of Jesus Christ is GOD and Saviour of all over the world, King of the Peace, Curator of all over the government and the authority also Curator of Church into which testimony in the Bible(the old of testament and the new of testament).

Banua Niha Keriso Protestan (BNKP) adalah persekutuan orang-orang kudus yang telah dibabtis dalam nama Allah Bapa, Anak dan Roh Kudus, sebagai perwujudan nyata dari tubuh Kristus.

BNKP mengaku bahwa Yesus Kristus adalah TUHAN dan Juruselamat dunia, Raja Damai, Kepala semua pemerintahan dan penguasa serta Kepala Gereja yang disaksikan di dalam Alkitab(Perjanjian Lama dan Perjanjian Baru).

Sejarah Berdirinya Gereja BNKPAwal berdirinya Banua Niha Keriso Protestan (BNKP) yaitu masuknya berita INJIL ke Pulau Nias yang dibawa oleh Penginjil dari Jerman bernama E.Ludwig Denninger pada tanggal 27 September 1865 lalu tanggal 27 September dijadikan sebagai Hari Yubelium BNKP. BNKP kemudian meluas sampai ke seluruh pelosok desa bahkan di kota-kota besar Indonesia, seperti Medan, Padang, Pekanbaru, Batam, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya dan kota-kota kecil lainnya.
