Summer Youth PlansThe youth at Augusta First United Methodist Church have several events planned for the summer months. In June we are planning a trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama. Also in June, three of our youth are involved in the Conference Choir Tour which will be traveling all over Arkansas. In July three of our youth will be attending JYMO (the Jurisdictional Youth Ministry Organization) meeting at Mt. Sequoyah in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is the leadership event for the Conference Council on Youth Ministries. We will also be attending Junior and Senior High Assembly which will be held at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas.

New Baseball Team!Our church is sponsoring a T-Ball team for the first time. Three of our members are actively involved: John Ford is the coach, Jake Ford and Jordan Porter are on the team. We are very proud of the new United Methodist Team! The t-shirts look great!!
