APOSTLESHIP OF THE SEA (NORTH TEES).

Apostleship of the Sea (Stella Maris).When seafarers come to North Tees they are welcomed into the local
Catholic community of St. John’s. Arrangements can be made for
seafarers to have Mass celebrated on board their ship by contacting
the chaplain Fr. David Taylor 01642 553153 or our ship visitor
Mr. Tony McAvoy Tel 0403781546. Arrangements can be made for seafarers
to be transported to the church for the scheduled Masses by ringing
in advance. When the priest is not available Eucharistic Ministers from the church can bring Holy Communion to the ship.
The Apostleship of the Sea will support the seafarer in his spiritual
life through prayer and the sacraments.
The Apostleship of the Sea is known throughout the world for its support for all seafarers and their families.
